appointments. It is integrated with e-d-s.

Unless I misunderstood something, the only calendar in the attached
screenshot is provided by the clock applet.

I understand that gnome-panel recommends, suggests or strongly
advises the use of evolution applets, but that it *depends* on it, so
much that it cannot even be installed and run without it, that I don't
see why should be.

the reason of the depends is that it's build using a library and the
binary would start without it installed so it needs to depends
