As I briefly touched in the previous article, font installation in GNOME is 
such an example. Installing fonts in GNOME is as simple as navigating to 
System-Preferences-Appearance-”Fonts” Tab-”Details” Button-”Go to Fonts 
Folder” Button, and finally drag and drop your new fonts in this directory. 
There is another shortcut to get here however. You can open a nautilus window, 
press Ctrl + L and in the address text box type: “fonts:///”.
