The only time I got it not to work was when I had the menu open already then I did alt+f1, and each time that I repeat that same process I can't get it to repeat now anymore. Sorry. The thing is if you do: alt-F1 arrow down g g ...you get the wanted result. Its related to how key strokes are interpreted within the gnome menu. If you do: alt-F1 s ..you'll get the System menu instead of Sound and Video. System is wrong. Mine doesn't even move at all! Although in mine the g isn't underlined?
