Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
Running Totem Movie Player 2.22.1 on up-to-date Ubuntu 8.04, plus whatever codecs medibuntu added. Trying to continue watching a .mov file (Railscast 68, FWIW) from where I left off, but I can only skip about 50 seconds at most into the movie. Any attempts to skip further into the file cause the player to reset to about 5 seconds or so into it (the beginning, basically) I expect that dragging the thumb slider on the "Time:" bar would take you to that point in the movie, not jump back to the beginning when you release it. Alternately, the "go-to-N-seconds" menu + dialog box should work (but has the same bug).
