I think is something wrong in sed (sed expression in post-installation script): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sed/+bug/447866 The issue makes sed not working well with -s expressions It looks can be solved changing LANG settings: export LANG=C (mine was LANG=es_ES.utf8 when errors happened).
