Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

there are several postings out there with regards to attempting to add a NEW
MICROSOFT EXCHANGE 2010 account under the ubuntu 10.10 x64 / evolution 2.30.3
platform.

essentially, the EXCHANGE CONNECTOR doesn't recognize exchange 2010 as a
valid software configuration (mac osx mail does, fedora doesn't have an
exchange option in its evolution) ... the error message rendered is as
follows:

The Exchange Server is not compatible with Exchange Connector.
The server is running Exchange 5.5. Exchange Connector supports
Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003 only.

NOTE: i have no RESTORE FROM BACKUP method as these are NEW EXCHANGE accounts
... so the work around proposed on several bug postings doesn't suffice

NOTE: i am able to connect via IMAP to the exchange 2010 server w/o
issue.

NOTE: i am running ubuntu 10.10 + latest fixes/patches ... all GA'd.

NOTE: Linux ubuntu 2.6.35-22-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP Sat Oct 16 20:45:36
UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
