Yeah, it seems to lag somehow, e.g., if you continue to move your mouse after pressing the button, you'll get a screenshot with more captured than marked (see attachment). Not everything in the screenshot is masked. The bug is fully reproducible. Launch gnome-screenshot --interactive and choose the 'select area' option. You will get a screenshot with a pink patina. This happens only with Natty in my experience.
