Hi, I tried turning them off, at first this didn't work (last year) but it was part of the same session. I've just tried again with accessibility off (this time since boot) and it appears to work. I guess the work a-round for the bug is not to use accessibility. If you need help with recreating the bug, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Cheers, Tony P.S. From the backtrace the problem seems to be due to gail, you might want to try with the accessibility features activated. Hi, The output isn't very useful but I'll post it at the end anyway. I've not noticed anything else written in python freezing. I've recently started programming in python and none of my apps or my trubogears site have frozen. I'm using edgy with a 2Ghz Athlon + 512mb RAM. Anything else you need to know?
