We've got gtk-vnc 0.4.3, which contains this fix, in Natty now. I am, but the version 0.4.2-1 in Experimental still has the bug. But I see gnome released 0.4.3 some hours ago. I'm not able reproduce this, just successfully connected to a vnc4server vncserver running in 10.04 using vinagre 2.30.3-1ubuntu2. That doesn't mean its not a bug, though. @Jean-Louis, A few things things. a.) Thanks for taking the time to open the bug and find a fix! b.) the vinagre package uses quilt for patches. You should apply your changes by adding a patch to debian/patches and debian/patches/series c.) I've tried without the patch.
