Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
gnome-settings-daemon is not running upon suspend/resume. As a result, window decorations and other theme-dependent settings revert to a default theme (gtk?). Restarting g-s-d on the command line restores decorations (in this case, the default Ambiance theme). Otherwise, GNOME appears to behave correctly. I run on an extended desktop (laptop + HDMI monitor). I updated to this version of g-s-d on Nov 20 and I suspend/resume several times daily, but I started observing this behavior only within the last few days. Therefore, it seems most likely that this repeatable problem results from another package upgrade and not from g-s-d itself.
