Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-media

I want to use gnome-sound-recorder to record from various audio devices;
webcam/microphones and sound cards. Gnome-sound-recorder has now way to
select the device, at least it's totally impossible to record from
multiple microphones at the same time.

I have seen a patch to the gnome-sound-recorder that had a device
selection listbox, but it's not in the current version.

Very important, urgent suggestion:
Replace gnome-sound-recorder with "audio-recorder". It can record from multiple
devices and records also Skype-calls etc. etc.
Please see: https://launchpad.net/audio-recorder
