My box is a Lenovo T400 (4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 3400). After I upgraded from 
10.10 to 11.04
via Update Manager, gnome-terminals undergo a corruption when being redrawn 
under certain
cirumstances. The system is fully patched. I use Gnome 2.32.1 with Metacity.

In workspace 1 Firefox is open, in workspace 2 are several xterms (created with 
"gnome-terminal
--geometry=100x40"). In one of these xterms vi is running. When I switch from 
workspace 1
to 2 with Crt-Alt-Arrow, the content of the xterm with vi is sometimes not 
redrawn correctly. In 
these cases it contains the stuff of the Firefox window of this screen 
position. I need to move the 
faulty xtrem just by one pixel, and everything is redrawn correctly. This is 
not exactly reproducible, 
it simply happens from time to time. I still try to find a pattern for this 
behaviour.
