You have been subscribed to a public bug:
on Linux mint 11 the main version, from the first start-up after
installing an error pops up saying something about a notification error
and asks if you want to delete it or not delete it. it leaves icons
missing in the panel bar too. This bug happens every time you start up.
I think it happens more frequently on machines I have installed it on
where there was no internet connection available during installation.
