Please check if solved by update to g-s-d 3.4.0 To check update with beta2 live CD: when at choice of Try Ubuntu/Install Ubuntu, (connect net and) switch to tty1 (ctrl-alt-F1) and 'sudo apt-get install aptitude' then use 'sudo aptitude'. (Or it's possible with ftp and dpkg if, like me, you also have errors with apt-get.) I start Ubuntu 12.04 from a USB 3.0 Stick as a livesystem. I've get the same error. But there wasn't a probleme. I was installing Ubutu 12.4.
