[Bug 987462] Re: Can't use virtual secondary display in VMWare Player
ok, if xrandr has the same issue it's not a bug in the ui, rather in the video driver, xorg ** Package changed: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) = xorg-server (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987462 Title: Can't use virtual secondary display in VMWare Player To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/987462/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 987462] Re: Can't use virtual secondary display in VMWare Player
I am not sure what you're asking here, or who should be answering it. Can you elaborate? I have the same problem in VIrtualBox BTW. That environment is gone so I can't open a bug report for that right away. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987462 Title: Can't use virtual secondary display in VMWare Player To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/987462/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 987462] Re: Can't use virtual secondary display in VMWare Player
no, I'm asking do you consider the xrandr command output as buggy as well? i.e it lists Screen 0: minimum 1 x 1, current 1920 x 1200, maximum 8192 x 8192 as the only output -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987462 Title: Can't use virtual secondary display in VMWare Player To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/987462/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 987462] Re: Can't use virtual secondary display in VMWare Player
Judging by the lack of any other options in VMware player, yes.
