I tried again, but the same situation still exits.I know the quality of my
video is not very good,but not to the extent that cannot be played properly.

Ubuntu better. A new version of GStreamer is available in both Lucid and
Maverick and we are wondering if this is still reproducible in any of
those versions, May you please test and give us of feedback about it?

Bug description:
Not all the avi videos that can cause the flashing problem, but all the
avi videos that downloaded from my school's FTP cannot be played properly.
However most of these videos that be played fluently by media player
classic, a free video player by GCC on Windows. I really don't think Windows is
robust than Linux, but the media player classic really looked great
