There is oldish version 2.10.6 in Ubuntu Hardy repos, the latest stable is
2.10.8, but the development version 2.11 from svn really rocks ! You need
librawgnome to install the development version on Hardy.

that's true. I have subscribed to a bunch of similar bugs opened on
f-spot not closing... I'm wating for directions as I can reproduce this
anytime.
