[Bug 127210] compiz fails on intel chipset
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz-kde On my Acer Aspire 380 laptop running Gutsy Tribe 3 Live CD, I installed Compiz-KDE then entered the command for compiz in the terminal. It failed with an error that said this isn't going to work. I lost my window borders and had to use the kwin command to get them back. I have the Intel integrated chipset, and Compiz works for me in Ubuntu. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- compiz fails on intel chipset https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for compiz in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 71686] Re: Missing profiles and a segfault
I removed all gstreamer configurations from ~/.gconf/system and killed gconfd. It helped. I don't now yet, if I lost anything I'm going to miss. I hope not. :-) Maybe some one who is still experiencing the problem could post the configuration files, so developers could then try to reproduce and fix the problem. -- Missing profiles and a segfault https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/71686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
