[Bug 1866194] Re: External audio device shows up in the sound output options but the sound keeps being emitted from the internal laptop speaker, or none at all.
This also affects me! Ubuntu Focal Fossa updated until right now; Dell Inspiron 15 5590 Laptop; Intel® Core™ i7-10510U CPU. I just use a simple P2 headphone. [Bug 1876286] Re: Evolution reports "Error performing TLS handshake: Internal error in memory allocation."
Dear all, I have had the same "...TLS handshake: Internal error in memory allocation" with yahoo IMAP (and POP) on claws 3.17.5 (and some older version) for the last 1-2 days, on 18.1 Mint and 19.3 Mint. Many thanks to Vincent Vermeulen for narrowing down the libs. I don't think this is due to some new additions to Ubuntu libraries as I tried on 18.1, 18.3, 19 & 19.3 Mint (as i was updating the system remotely). I managed to resolve this by installing from sources gnutls-3.6.13 and its dependencies nettle-3.6 and libunistring 9.9 (via apt get this one). The issue seems to be either with nettle or gnutls. I then set $PGK_CONFIG_PATH and $LD_LIBRARY_PATH and then re-compiled claws-mail-3.17.5 Solved the imap problem for sure, haven't tested the POP protocol. [Bug 1877754] [NEW] GTKFileChooser: deselect highlighted directory
Public bug reported: Open a random file save form (gedit, LibreOffice doesn't matter). Sometimes the first entry in the file list gets highlighted automatically which may be a folder (especially when it is not the first time you save a file). So the user may click on another entry to change the selection, but clicking on the background *does not cause* a deselection to take place. In my opinion that would be an expected usage pattern as it is the case on common other platforms. Why is that important? [Bug 1877712] Re: Severe performance degradation in Gnome Shell after upgrade to 20.04
The log file is absolutely flooded with errors like: May 9 08:53:48 volga gnome-shell[3395]: Attempting to call back into JSAPI during the sweeping phase of GC. This is most likely caused by not destroying a Clutter actor or Gtk+ widget with ::destroy signals connected, but can also be caused by using the destroy(), dispose(), or remove() vfuncs. Because it would crash the application, it has been blocked and the JS callback not invoked. May 9 08:53:48 volga gnome-shell[3395]: The offending signal was notify on MetaDisplay 0x555ad20ba000. [Bug 1750146] Re: Xbox (One) Wireless Controller won't connect
I have the latest Ubuntu 20.04 and it also seems to have this bug. There are workarounds, but I think it should work out of the box like it does on Windows. It is weird to have this kind of bug as Xbox One controller might just be the most popular controller and these kinds of issues prevent people from gaming on Linux. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1750146 Title: Xbox (One) Wireless Controller won't connect To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/1750146/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1845801] Re: [nvidia] Automatic login fails and then all subsequent logins fail. Killing gnome-session-binary fixes it, or just not using automatic login.
I can confirm this is still an issue. The odd part is, however, that I did not have this issue on 19.10 with the nvidia drivers from the ppa.
