For the time being:

 @cvs.gnome.org
 @svn.gnome.org
 @src.gnome.org

All work. @src.gnome.org is preferred, and maybe at some point we'll
shut down the @cvs.gnome.org and @svn.gnome.org aliases.

Note: @src.gnome.org not really meant to be a general purpose email
address; it's a way of contacting someone who made a change to source
control. If you want a mailing address for general purposes you should
apply for foundation membership, so that you can then ask for a
@gnome.org address.

It looks like there was a problem in importing your repository. We'll
investigate, figure out what went wrong, and make sure it gets imported
correctly.

Given that the status says
Converting /mnt/git-data/svn/perl-Gtk2-GLExt, I'd like to say that
totem-pl-parser also didn't seem to pass the import stage.

We went to running imports in parallel last night to speed things up and
that caused problems for both doing things in LRU ordering and keeping
the status up to date.

I'm not sure about the exact algorithm Kristian went with, but poking
around a little bit, it looks like totem-pl-parser is right at the end
of one of the queues. I don't have a firm estimate, but I'd guess by the
end of the day.

Sorry for the delay,

please don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to be harsh or anything, I'm
sure I'll love git and I'm really grateful to Owen and the team that
have stand up and finally made both, the decision about the tool and
the actual work to make it happen.

That said I think one of the major point in not loosing any
contributor and instead gain new ones, is to have a documentation on
the new tools that rocks, I've always contributed documentation in the
areas I could, unfortunately this time I would made good use of docs
about the new infrastructure (in the gnome context) and how to get the
most out of it. RTFM in this case just does not apply very well...

 finished first, and since that just happened, now is the time to push
 the big button. Thanks to a lot of sysadmin legwork from Owen, the
 GNOME git infrastructure is looking great: we have cgit set up on
 git.gnome.org and the various commit hooks and mailing lists scripts
 have been setup and tuned.

So eh, what does this mean for the svn-commits mailing list? Will git
commits end up there? Will we all have to subscribe to a new git-commits
list? Can we get migrated automatically?

Cheers,

From what i've seen on that list, Git commits already end up there.

They already arrive there, and the list will most probably be renamed
