[Desktop-packages] [Bug 461128]
Dear Christopher M. Penalver, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. you seem to have some problem with /usr/bin/deb-systemd-invoke, which is a perl script, but it seems to be getting called by /bin/sh. You should try reinstalling init-system-helpers to fix any problem with your script, and/or if you made any changes yourself manually that may be causing the problem. $ sudo apt --reinstall install init-system-helpers ** Package changed: fprintd (Ubuntu) => init-system-helpers (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: init-system-helpers (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to fprintd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933188 Title: package libpam-fprintd:amd64 1.90.9-1~ubuntu20.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: installed libpam-fprintd:amd64 package post- installation script subprocess returned error exit status 2 Status in init-system-helpers package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Got this problem when doing a regular "Update/upgrade" from shell /usr/bin/deb-systemd-invoke: 32 =head1: not found /usr/bin/deb-systemd-invoke: 39: Syntax error: newline unexpected Endless loop of these two lines in bash before the crash. I can replicate the issue on a freshly flashed groovy image. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1931701] Re: autopkgtests failures on armhf of 7.1.4
@Sebastien, even identifying the exact change in gcc-9 won't be enough. It boils down to a miscompiled issue in two million lines of code. Already ten months ago, I asked to do proper debugging in LO, see LP: #1891623. However every bug I filed (comment #8) to get the debugging easier, or even possible was triaged as not affecting the user, and apparently delayed. There are two sides of the issue, one is to produce a test case below the two million line code mark, and below the 48 hour build mark. Helping yes, but doing that on my own, no. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1931701 Title: autopkgtests failures on armhf of 7.1.4 Status in gcc-9 package in Ubuntu: New Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: New Status in gcc-9 source package in Hirsute: New Status in libreoffice source package in Hirsute: New Status in gcc-9 source package in Impish: New Status in libreoffice source package in Impish: New Bug description: The autopkgtests for 7.1.4~rc2-0ubuntu1 on impish/armhf has started to fail reliably. https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-impish/impish/armhf/libr/libreoffice/20210610_121847_0ab56@/log.gz "/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/unopkg" add -f "/tmp/tmp.oOlP0i1pzN/out/sdk/LINUXexample.out/bin/SampleDialog.oxt" # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0xf47474b8, pid=35616, tid=35643 # # JRE version: OpenJDK Runtime Environment (11.0.12+4) (build 11.0.12-ea+4-Ubuntu-0ubuntu2) # Java VM: OpenJDK Server VM (11.0.12-ea+4-Ubuntu-0ubuntu2, mixed mode, g1 gc, linux-) # Problematic frame: # C [libbootstraplo.so+0x1c4b8] stoc_impreg::mergeKeys(com::sun::star::uno::Reference const&, com::sun::star::uno::Reference const&, std::vector >&)+0xb # # Core dump will be written. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1909678] Re: Ubuntu 20.10 Desktop on Pi4B - screen-freeze after idling at login-screen
Unable to replicate the problem on hirsute (either a fresh install from the image, or post all upgrades); currently flashing a groovy image for testing, but it looks like whatever's causing this in groovy *might* have been fixed by hirsute. If I can replicate the issue on the groovy image, I'll try running through the release upgrader to see if it goes away post-upgrade before marking hirsute as fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xwayland in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1909678 Title: Ubuntu 20.10 Desktop on Pi4B - screen-freeze after idling at login- screen Status in linux-raspi package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in xwayland package in Ubuntu: New Status in linux-raspi source package in Groovy: Invalid Status in xwayland source package in Groovy: New Status in linux-raspi source package in Hirsute: Invalid Status in xwayland source package in Hirsute: New Bug description: It is the same bug already described here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1300689/problem-with-usb-keyboard-and- mouse-on-raspberry-pi-4b-with-ubuntu-20-10 My system: Linux myRaspi 5.8.0-1010-raspi #13-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Wed Dec 9 17:14:07 UTC 2020 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux I'm using - Raspberry Pi4B 8GB - Logitech MK120 Keyboard and Mouse (wired). [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1932291] Re: dhcp client resets IP address every few minutes
The reason why dhcp client reset connection was an ICMP message When the client send a REQUEST, the gateway replied with ICMP code 10 (Host administratively prohibited) Then dhcp server replied with ACK -- It happened because iptables on the server did not allow incoming connections to port 67 of the dhcp server and it responded with an ICMP (Host administratively prohibited). But it seems the requests came to the dhcp server anyway and dhcp server responded with ACK. I sent only dhcp packets in the dump file but there no ICMP messages were included. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1932291 Title: dhcp client resets IP address every few minutes Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hello, Network manager resets IP address every 30 minutes (perhaps this time depends on default-lease-time) This issue affects at least the latest package Network Manager in Ubuntu 20.04.2 - network-manager 1.22.10-1ubuntu2.2. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 875676] Re: Backing up fails with 'IOError CRC check failed'.
My workaround for this problem: i went to the backupserver where our remote backups are located ls -latr *.sigtar.gz (pick the last one and gave it a "_" as prefix) after that i could do a purge again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to duplicity in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875676 Title: Backing up fails with 'IOError CRC check failed'.
