But file-roller read every file as UTF-8, so it sometimes makes encoding problem. I think may be, you could think that it's not a big problem or it's not a bug or we don't need those feature. If you deal with only English it's not a problem at all. But it's a big problem for East Asian people such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Because zip file is still popular. And many people compress zip file in Windows, and share the zip files. Windows don't use UTF-8. Many CJK people want to uncompress these zip files. There are some way to solve this problem (by another software). But all are too complex to Ubuntu newbies. I wish file-roller support encoding select function. When opening a compose windows (or reply or transfer), sending mail apparently close the windows, but gnome shell continue to show multiple "points", as if multiple windows are still active. And after closing TB, it seems maintained in the same state, so it becomes impossible to relaunch it from the desk. But task manager of "looking glass" does not show it and it is possible to launch from terminal. Provisional solution: Modify .desktop file to launch with --display=:0 option, that force to use XWayland interface, as shown by xlsclients (for example). [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1950467] Re: [BPO] libreoffice 7.1.7 for focal
Hello, Thank you for your review. I have updated the patch and minimized the usage of internal libraries as far as possible. See the packaging git branch [1] for more details. We provide libreoffice_*.orig-tarballs.tar.xz to fallback on library versions used upstream if the system environment is not sufficient. The new requirement to include a "~bpo" string seems a bit unfortunate given the established versioning of the package [2] [3]. Could you make a recommendation here while this is not a plain rebuild of the hirsute package? [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1947571] Re: UI freeze when right clicking on Trash icon of the Dock

I think both https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1936644 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1949572 is due to same underlaying cause, I think https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1949572 is more related to this bug. Moreover I'm pretty sure when both these bug are fixed it will automatically fix this bug also. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947571 Title: UI freeze when right clicking on Trash icon of the Dock Status in gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: ## What's the issue.
