[Desktop-packages] [Bug 388500] Re: should use nautilus' file sorting preferences
I understand the report as concerning the case where EOG is called from nautilus with one photo to display, and then the user clicks next/previous... If however, eog is called with a list of filenames (e.g. from command line or a script), then it should really follow the order of the photos that it was called with. Unfortunately, it doesn't. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to eog in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/388500 Title: should use nautilus' file sorting preferences Status in Eye of GNOME: Confirmed Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts: Invalid Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: There is no way to say Eye of Gnome to sort the pictures in another order then alphabetic. The best way would be if EoG would use the file sort option of nautilus if this can not be changes easily an extra file sort option in EoG would be great To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/eog/+bug/388500/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Desktop-packages] [Bug 754622] Re: GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_object: assertion `G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed
I start eog somepic.png from terminal in a directory that also contains a couple of images apart from somepic.png. somepic shows without any critical-messages. When I change to other pics (with spacebar/backspace, or arrow-buttons) I get 4 CRITICALs per new image displayed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to eog in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/754622 Title: GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_object: assertion `G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: eog eog displays those scary error messages when displaying some JPEG images: $ eog autotools.jpg (eog:3215): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_object: assertion `G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed [same error message repeated 14 times] Those messages are a problem because they can rapidly fill the ~/.xsession-errors file.
