[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1061195] Re: Evolution appears unable to create EWS or Exchange MAPI account

2016-08-02 Thread Andreas Noteng
This bug is fixed in upstream release 3.20, which is available in
Debian. The package cannot simply be synced over, as it also needs
evolution-data-server which afaik has some build issues.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1242402] Re: error while loading shared libraries: libturbojpeg.so

2013-10-21 Thread Andreas Noteng
I'm sorry. It turns out there was a chromium-browser in /usr/local/bin/,
I have no idea how it got there. Running /usr/bin/chromium-browser works
as expected. The other person experiencing this bug should open a
separate report if the bug still affects them. Sorry for the
inconvenience..

Public bug reported:

After upgrade to Quantal touchpad became unusable. The mouse pointer
hardly moves. If two-finger scrolling is enabled it will often scroll
instead of moving the pointer. Scrolling using edge scrolling, tapping
and the buttons seem to work just fine. I had a similar problem the last
time I upgraded this computer, but it somehow magically fixed itself
after a couple of days, see bug #996592 for more info

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 795563] Re: evolution's incoming mail filter rules doesn't work with Exchange MAPI protocol

2011-12-06 Thread Andreas Noteng
Do the rules work when selecting all messages and then clicking messages -
apply filters?
I have the same problem in Oneiric, rules work just fine if applied manually,
but not automatically when recieving new messages.

   Status: New = Confirmed

I have set a filter for an Exchange MAPI protocol account. For incoming mails
my specifications where Any conditions are met, then in actions I have:
  * Subject and sounds like a string
  * Sender and sounds like a string
  * Sender and is and the email address.
Then contains only one action. To move to a folder that I choose (Created in
the Exchange MAPI account)
  Nothing works, nothing is processed.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 264691] Re: NM 0.7 No option for connecting to L2TP IPSEC VPN

2011-11-05 Thread Andreas Noteng
Werner: A review/upload from revu will almost never happen, ubuntu
dosn't have enough reviewers.. A package for Debian Sid and an RFS mail
to the debian-mentors list is usually the quickest way of getting a
package into Ubuntu. Besides, it has the added benefit of the package
making it to all Debian derivates. Contact me if you'd like some help
with the process. mentors.debian.net is a great place to start.

NM 0.7 No option for connecting to L2TP IPSEC VPN

Status in NetworkManager:
  Confirmed
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress
Status in “network-manager” package in Debian:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

  Missing feature:

You cannot connect to a (Microsoft) L2TP IPSEC VPN with Network
  Manager.

The server I want to connect to expects a login / password and a PSK.

When you do a connection in XP you can see the following details on a
  connection:

  Device name: L2TP
  Server type: PPP
  Authentication: MS CHAP v2
  IPSEC Encryption: IPSEC ESP 3DES
  Compression: MPPC
