Your email is not clear regarding enabling or disabling updates.

Attached screen of Updates on Xubuntu 14.10 Software  Updates. With
recommended updates set or not results are the same.

In fact, I think that there is some misconfiguration in this new Xubuntu
installation, because in another one in the office, I could compile
Wireshark without errors.

Any way, sources.list is attached.
