Title:
Values cleared when scrolling in standard filter dialog

Status in LibreOffice:
  Fix Released
Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I was actually developing a change for LibreOffice when I found this
bug. It exists both on my installed version of LibreOffice (6.0.7.3)
and the latest master branch (git commit
  058caeef45f9abf12e4e243aafbbb1c2ebcbc057).

  1. Create a spreadsheet with a column of data.
  2. Apply autofiltering to the column.
  3. Select "standard filter..." from the filter menu.
  4. Add a condition (e.g. "Number = 1").
  5. Click OK. Data will be filtered as expected.
  6. Close the spreadsheet.
  7. Open the spreadsheet again.
  8. Select "standard filter..." from the filter menu.
  9. Scroll down and up again in the filter dialog.

  Actual:
The value "1" will be cleared for some reason.

  Expected:
The value is not cleared by scrolling.

This also exists in the master, except you don't even have to scroll
down and back up. Simply moving the scrollbar at all will trigger this
  bug.

Bug description:
  Hello,

I have the bug that is denoted here
  https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/240651/print-dialogue-too-
  large-to-select-ok-to-print/ and here
  https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127782#c67.

Essentially, the libreoffice writer print's dialog box is too high for
me to view and press the buttons with the mouse. A workaround is to
  just press ENTER to print.

Please see the following screenshot for an example:
  https://snipboard.io/vc1X0f.jpg

  My information is as follows:

  Results of lsb_release -rd

  Description: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

  Results of apt-cache policy libreoffice-writer

Bug description:
  [ Impact ]

  I'm running LibreOffice 6.3.2.2 on Ubuntu 19.10.

In this environment, copy/cut/paste often fails. Specifically, the
paste command sometimes does not paste the text that was cut/copied
most recently. Instead, it pastes text that was cut/copied at some
  prior time.

  [ Test case ]

  1. Use use libreoffice writer/calc
  2. Copy text around
  3. Paste it and ensure it always work

  [ Regression potential ]

Copy/paste won't work as expected, for non-text types

  -

I use LibreOffice Writer a lot, and I now see this problem very often, i.e.
many times every day.

There is some discussion of the problem here:

     https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/213510/copypaste-issues-
  libreoffice-calc/

Several posters there say that they are also using Ubuntu 19.10.

Ubuntu 19.10 includes Mutter 3.34, which has a new clipboard manager:

     https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item=GNOME-3.34
  -Clipboard-Manager

It seems like that could be related.

2020-05-18 Thread Buzea Bogdan
I updated to 20.04 and this bug is very annoying.
It's not what users expect.

Version: 6.4.3.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: ro-RO (ro_RO.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

I mention that I don't have the same problems with LO installed from
.deb packages from official website and not any problem with AppImages.

Also I remember Snap version is better. I am not 100% sure now.

Title:
[upstream] EDITING: Background Color button from Table toolbar should

Status in LibreOffice:
  Confirmed
Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
 1. Launch LibreOffice Writer
 2. Insert table to the new document (Table -> Insert -> Table)
 3. Write some multirow text in table cells
 4. Try to change cell background:
4.1. place cursor on desired cell
4.2. select color from palette from "Background Color" drop-down
(located on Table toolbar).
4.3. click "Background Color" button on Table toolbar.

  Expected results:
background color of TABLE CELL (where cursor was) is changed to desired
color.

  Actual results:
background color of TEXT PARAGRAPH (where cursor was) is changed to
desired color.

  Workaround:
There is slow non-intuitive background - select whole cell, select color
from palette from "Background Color" drop-down (located on Table toolbar),
click "Background Color" button on Table toolbar.

  Affected versions:
 LibreOffice 3.5.7.2 Build ID: 350m1(Build:2) = pre-installed Ubuntu

 LibreOffice 4.4.2.2 Build ID: 40m0(Build:2) = pre-installed Ubuntu 15.04

  Comment:
I can't believe how this bug is possible. It is inherited from OO.org (I
saw it on OO.org 3.2 in Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS too).
Microsoft Word 2003 and 2007 of course have normal behaviour with cell
background.

Please see video, it is fixed?

Tested on 6.3 from 21.01.2019 but I think it is not fixed. Please see my

I tested 3 different options which a user could think is a background
(as the tooltip says). But it is not a backgroud, just a paragraph
background.

Bug description:
I noticed for last 2-3 days there is no sound notification for a new
SMS, but there's a blinking green LED notification. Also in the
indicator menu the envelope icon turns green and the new SMS is listed
as usual. Things are working alright for Telegram, Gmail etc.
  (sound+LED+indicator menu).

Device: bq Aquaris E5 HD, Ubuntu 15.04 (OTA-9)

  UPDATE: Screenshots get silent too.
