Opening facebook Success page in external browser

Status in “gnome-control-center-signon” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I suppose these are the same symptoms as bug #1132030. Don't know
about the cause though - a lot of refactoring seems to have happened
  since then.

My FB authentication token has expired. Now, at a regular interval,
  UOA is opening a webpage
  (https://www.facebook.com/connect/blank.html#_=_) in Firefox. It says

  Success
SECURITY WARNING: Please treat the URL above as you would your password and
do not share it with anyone.)

The issue is also reproducable when attempting to add a new Facebook
  account.

  1. Open Online Accounts
  2. Click Add account…
  3. Select Facebook
  4. Observe that a window opens in the external browser, as above

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 348522] Re: gvfsd-gphoto2 memory leak

2012-07-23 Thread Chris Guidry
Definitely still a bug in precise. It appears to me that the
gphoto/gvfs is copying the files into memory in order to transfer them.

Title:
  gvfsd-gphoto2 memory leak

Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gvfs

Copy video files from my Canon Digital IXUS 90 IS with 16GB SD Card is a very
hard problem.
It uses about 1 or 2 times the file dimension that you are copying.

  I have 2GB of memory (1GB RAM + 1 GB SWAP) and I can't backup some
videos because they are too big.
