2014-07-13 Thread Christer
I have tried the fix BlackDalek describes, and it does NOT work for
me. I have the Yahoo account and the Flickr account. I tried remove
both, then reboot, then re-add, then reboot. Tried removing them and
then adding them again, then reboot. No dice. Tried removing them, then
changing their passwords, then re-adding, rebooting. No dice. STILL bugs
the hell out of me when logging onto my computer (Ubuntu 14.04 fresh
install).

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 395922] Re: Please replace the disc with a supported cd or dvd

2013-03-05 Thread Christer
OMG! I can't burn an ISO.. What a painful software.. I have to open it in
terminal with force: 'sudo brasero'.
Otherwise it won't even run... And it's saying please insert a supported CD or
DVD.. Wtf? So CD-R isn't supported?!
This is unacceptable. How can they leave Brasero as the burning utility on
Ubuntu if it has this incredible bug???
And I have experienced it since at least 10.10, so there's obviously not anyone
working on it... Doesn't ANYONE using Ubuntu
burn disc images Why can't we get to the bottom of this with a working
solution already?
I tried the brasero --brasero-media-debug --debug brasero-debug.txt, but
it doesn't do anything...

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1086746] Re: Bluetooth keyboard battery interpreted as laptop battery

2013-01-19 Thread Christer
For me, it affects me with the Lenovo Bluetooth Laser Mouse connected.
There's no dongle, only connected to the internal bluetooth of my
ThinkPad (it's a broadcom chip, but I don't think it's important). And
sometimes, Ubuntu thinks that the battery is going dead, and shuts
off!!! It's REALLY frustrating and unneccesary, because the laptop
battery actually has 4-5 hours left of charge Also it displays the
bluetooth mouse battery in the statusbar instead of the main battery,
which is really strange and annoying.. I want Ubuntu to notify when BT
mouse battery is getting low, but not turn off the computer by mistake
:/ You know?
