[Desktop-packages] [Bug 883256] Re: unnecessary separation of keyboard and keyboard layout

Title:
unnecessary separation of keyboard and keyboard layout

Status in unity-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
The new system settings tool for gnome 3 has replaced the old one, because
that had lots of issues, and had too many items. But at least it did have
filtering. Now the new one is starting to have the same problem:
  1. Open system settings
Observe the two different keyboard-related items: Keyboard and keyboard layout
These two have similar icons, and I think the best would be to have them
merged, as the only reason to keep them separated seems to be to differentiate
between the category (Hardware and Personal) seems kindof strange, as people
are used to have them in the same panel, and it would be nice to have
keyboard-related settings in one place. So i suggest adding the keyboard layout
panel back as a tab of the keyboard settings panel, as this way that panel
would have three separate tabs.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1516167] [NEW] Proxies should be per connection, not system-wide

2015-11-13 Thread Danial Behzadi
Public bug reported:

Usually, we don't use a constant proxy every where. When I am at home, I
use a local proxy on my raspberry-pi, but when I am at university, I use
the proxy server of the university, when I use my phone as a hot-spot, I
want to use no proxy And when I am at a public network, I prefer to use
local tor proxy. So I think the proxy should be a property of the
connection, just like the DNS address, not a system-wide option.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1513282] [NEW] Timer resets when pausing or ending game

2015-11-04 Thread Danial Behzadi
Public bug reported:

In gnome-mines 3.18.1, any action that would normally pause the timer instead
causes it to reset to zero. That is to say pausing the game results in a
displayed time of zero, and finishing the game records zero to the history.
This will led all best times to be 0, regardless of how much time you had spent
to solve the game.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1315348] Re: Firefox 29 can't handle keyboard input correctly after waking up from suspend

I checked the issue and it happens even with screenlock. So I think
there should be a relation between this and unity lock screen.
