[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1589401] Re: cannot view wifi networks after re-enabling wifi

2017-02-19 Thread Diego Liedo
I too have this bug on a Lenovo W520 with Ubuntu 16.04 kernel 4.4.0-62-generic
The only solution that has worked is restarting the network-manager service,
however if I attach an USB WiFi adapter based on rtl8187, the icon becomes
normal and I can choose a network for that adapter. The Intel Centrino
Advanced-N 6205 remains unusable.
Also the interface name is wlp3s0 instead of the usual wlan0 on other
installations I've made.
If I try $ ifdown wlp3s0 results in Unknown interface wlp3s0
As to comment #133 nm-applet still crashes after hardware switching off/on WiFi
and resuming from suspend.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 787119] Re: xscreensaver blocks guides in gimp

2011-09-14 Thread Diego Liedo
I can confirm this bug, affecting also the 64 bits version of xubuntu.
Gimp also unlocks when workspace is switched and back again, yet no guides are
there when returning to gimp's workspace.

  xscreensaver blocks guides in gimp

Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gimp

In ubuntu 10.04 and xubuntu 10.04, when I click on rulers in gimp for
dragging guides, gimp is blocking. Gimp don't reacts on clicks anymore. Only
when I minimize window and restore it back, gimp unlocks, but no guides.
Problem solves by killing xscreensaver process. With xscreensaver version
5.13 gimp works fine, but there is 5.12 in standard repository.
