Hello Guy,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2011 and there have been several versions of

Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 837984

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for

this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and Thunderbird better.

For clarity, I have three different models of laptop, 1 with normal HD

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1584740] Re: Libreoffice impress hanging and high cpu on slide operations

2016-06-03 Thread Guy Van Sanden
1) on my laptop it is ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-5-0, so LO 5.0 instead of 5.1
I have to check if any of them has 5.1 instead of 5.0.

2) I don't have any laptops with the original version, would have to
reinstall it to test that.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1584740] Re: Libreoffice impress hanging and high cpu on slide operations

2016-06-03 Thread Guy Van Sanden
Hi Christopher

It happens on every single presentation, not a specific document, regardless of
the presence of images.

When I open those files on Ubuntu 14.04 with libreoffice 5 from PPA or
on CentOS it works correctly, even on the same model laptop.

Both affected laptops run Ubuntu 16.04 and have Intel graphics, though
the model are over 4 years apart.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1060802] [NEW] Mouse clicks erratic since quantal upgrade

2012-10-03 Thread Guy Van Sanden
Public bug reported:

I upgraded to quantal and since the upgrade, my USB Mouse (Rapoo) double
clicks 7 out of 10 times when I single click. Weirdly enough, the
behaviour is not consistent and sometimes single clicks do not get
registered either.

Mouse works fine on non-quantal systems. Will try another brand of
mouse also and report back.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 864504] Re: Deja-dup crashes on gvfsd-sftp

2011-10-04 Thread Guy Van Sanden
It was 100% reproducable for several days, but the problem seems to have
disappeared exactly the way it came...

The SSH server is an Ubuntu 10.04 machine that has been running a long
time, other clients where fine except for deja-dup on my Oneiric
machine.

Will see if it resurfaces, but it's been gone for 2 days now...

  Deja-dup crashes on gvfsd-sftp

Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Since this week's Oneiric updates, Deja-dup stopped working (without
  any config change):

  It displays an error:
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply.
Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the
message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or
the network connection was broken.
