This post indicates that the source of the data comes from MaxMind. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=755533#20 I checked and MaxMind knows that Chattanooga is in Eastern timezone. It would be wonderful if there was a published method for making corrections. While it is great that this is now 'Confirmed' (it affects all Ubuntu users in Chattanooga, TN). I gave up on this getting fixed years ago. I set up a DNS override and have a web server serving the correct time zone on the LAN. All I was looking for was who is the correct contact for mistakes in geoip.ubuntu.com. If this is a purchased feed and someone upstream needs to be notified, who would that be? I could not find another service with the same mistake.
