[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1947257] Re: Partial profile loss on upgrade from 21.04 to 21.10
Hi Olivier, I have given that a try but no luck. It still only finds 3 of the 4 windows that were open at the time of the upgrade with the one it can't find being the primary one with 50+ tabs. It does not show up in recently closed tabs/windows either so I guess it's just lost, extremely frustrating. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1947257 Title: Partial profile loss on upgrade from 21.04 to 21.10 Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: In the upgrade from 21.04 to 21.10 I noticed it had updated firefox. When restarting some of my profile was kept (themes, addons, etc) but I've noticed my primary window of 50+ tabs was lost. It opened 3 other windows correctly. I tried to find it via "recently closed tabs/windows" but it's not showing up. I have also confirmed there are no duplicate profiles. Silly me assumed it was done correctly and when the upgrade process offered to remove old packages I did so I can't seem to retrieve the old profile. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1069775] Re: evolution locks up
I know it's probably no consolation to you but I was experiencing the same issues and was concerned about the fact that it never seemed to sync data locally like it said it should. I tried all sorts of different hacks and attempts to get it working. The only thing that worked was purging evolution AND the purging the hard drive of all config and data files. Only then when I reinstalled did evolution function flawlessly. That being said it was a pain having to download multiple gigabytes of emails again from the imap server. It's not really a workaround but figured someone else might benefit from it if they were also at the end of their tether like I was with this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069775 Title: evolution locks up Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I upgraded to 12.10 the 19th, now every day randomly evolution will lock up and become unusable -- unable to close through the x button or pkill I have to get its pid and kill -9 it. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1019717] Re: Unable to open google contacts
Can I please ask what version you have that has the issue fixed? I have 3.2.3 installed in precise and there are no updates available in the backports or proposed. And the issue is still present. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019717 Title: Unable to open google contacts Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Running an up to date Ubuntu 12.04 I have put all the required information in to evolution to sync relevant parts of my google account. The mail (IMAP) and multiple calendars work fine but I can't get the contacts to work. I do use two step verification on google if that makes a difference. I have looked around for a solution but I'm unable to find one. I'm not an expert at debugging but if more information is needed please let me know how to produce it and I will collect it. The error I am presented with is a big red banner at the top of the screen when I click on contacts that states: Unable to open address book This address book cannot be opened. This either means that an incorrect URI was entered, or the server is unreachable. Detailed error message: Cannot open book: Source already loaded!
