[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1207796] [NEW] broken modes for external samsung monitor on laptop

2013-08-02 Thread Jeff Smith
Public bug reported:

More than a month ago the ubuntu updates broke modes that used to work
on my external monitor, SyncMaster SA350. I manually add 1920x1080@60Hz
just to get it to work.

none of the selected modes were compatible with the possible modes:

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 680771] Re: Cannot determine file location after search in Nautilus

2013-04-05 Thread Jeff Smith
Now I see the full path could easily be put in this text window, but
instead a truncated version with "..." appended is put here instead!

Cannot determine file location after search in Nautilus

Status in Nautilus:
  Confirmed
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
When searching for a file in Nautilus and then right-click to view
Properties to determine the location, the full path to the file is
obscured by the size of the Properties window. The Properties window
cannot be sized, neither can the file path text be scrolled to the
left to reveal the full path.
