confirmed for Android and chrome 25.0.1364.172 on Ubuntu-12.10.

The --enable-monitor-profile appears to be a Windows only thing.

Workaround: use FireFox

Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Theoretically, chrome (and therefore chromium) is supposed to pic up
  the system monitor profile when --enable-monitor-profile is specified
  on the commandline.

  But when I compare standard sRGB images in Chromium with the display in 
Firefox which is fully CM aware it is clear that the system profile (available 
via the X atom _ICC_PROFILE) is ignored.
  That makes this browser useless on wide gamut screens
