[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1653351]
Strange : the latest version (3.6 published August, 8th) of " Deselect on Delete TB78" (unfortunate that the name includes "TB78") should work with Thunderbird 115. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to thunderbird in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1653351 Title: Have option to not automatically open next email Status in Mozilla Thunderbird: Confirmed Status in Ubuntu GNOME: Confirmed Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: I have found that with Thunderbird if I open an email and then press a button such as the "Junk" or "Delete" button, it will automatically move on and open the next email. Now as I get a lot of spam on this email in the inbox with the spam filter not properly configured yet, it would be very useful if there were an option to disable this automatically opening the next email feature. So that it would just go to the blank screen in the email display section. Quite a few people I know for similar reasons say they would like an option like this so that malicious emails don't accidentally get opened. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 188342] Re: keymap fr/oss: numpad '.' mapped to period instead of KP_Decimal
Still affected by this with Ubuntu 20.04. In Ubuntu Budgie, there's no obvious parameter to solve this. The modification of .Xmodmap did not work for me. I added the following line in .bashrc (did not work in .profile): xmodmap -e 'keycode 91 = KP_Delete KP_Decimal' And now, problem solved ! ;) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xkeyboard-config in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188342 Title: keymap fr/oss: numpad '.' mapped to period instead of KP_Decimal Status in xkeyboard-config: Fix Released Status in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in xkeyboard-config package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-kbd In Ubuntu 7.10, xserver-xorg-input-kbd_1.2.0-1+1.2.1ubuntu1 with the following Xorg.conf settings: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Generic Keyboard" Driver "kbd" Option "CoreKeyboard" Option "XkbRules" "xorg" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" Option "XkbLayout" "fr" Option "XkbVariant""oss" EndSection Got: $ xmodmap -pke | grep 'keycode *91' keycode 91 = KP_Delete period comma U202F comma U202F Expected: $ xmodmap -pke | grep 'keycode *91' keycode 91 = KP_Delete KP_Decimal comma U202F comma U202F This issue is a MAJOR usability issue in OpenOffice.org Calc, as in the current state Calc is unusable to enter decimal numbers quickly. This is a major blocker for migration of Windows/Excel users to Ubuntu/OpenOffice.org. See bug #188331.
