[Desktop-packages] [Bug 973845] Re: network manager keeps trying to connect to random wireless connections when already connected to wired connection
I suffer from this as well, it is inconsistent (two dialogs) and annoying (why ask for wireless while connected to LAN*). * NB: I understand if you want to connect to both wireless and LAN you should be able to, but in those instances the user probably knows how to select both networks and connect. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager-applet in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973845 Title: network manager keeps trying to connect to random wireless connections when already connected to wired connection Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: At work my laptop can see 10+ wireless connections, non of which I'm interesed in connecting to. Even whilst I'm connected to a wired lan, network manager randomly pops open a request to enter the password for a number of these network connections. These requests seem to happen at random intervals during the day. As I'm using gnome 3 this actually gets worse. When it asks for a wireless password I first get a gnome themed password prompt (which I cancel) and then i get the standard non-themed password prompt. To make things even worse, if I attempt to go in and attempt to edit the wireless settings, the 'Configure...' button is disabled unless I'm already connected to a network. (ARGH). [Desktop-packages] [Bug 943912] Re: Libreoffice Writer crash with Ctrl+f
I'm getting this as well using the version from the libreoffice official ppa in 11.10. It's a pretty serious bug. It seems to be present regardless of the file. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/943912 Title: Libreoffice Writer crash with Ctrl+f Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: The program 'soffice' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 12613 error_code 8 request_code 42 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Menu Edit-Find works.
