Title:
Improve Thunderbird notifications for Gnome Shell

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
As Gnome Shell notification subsystem have more features than
notifications in Unity, integration needs to be improved.

Currently, in artful and bionic, Thunderbird notifications have two
  issues:

  1. On lock screen, Thunderbird always show "1 new notification" even
multiple mails arrived while screen locked.

  2. Thunderbird should withdrawal notifications, if message was viewed
and marked as read on another device (for IMAP only).

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1387131] Re: Cannot change evince key bindings

2016-06-08 Thread MF
This bug is still active in ubuntu 16.04.

The same holds for GM's comment on Gnome documentation.

I really wish all this can be fixed and customizing shortcuts in evince will
be as simple as any other viewer (eg, okular).

Title:
  Cannot change evince key bindings

Status in evince package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hi,

I've tried the process to "Create [my] own custom shortcuts" described here:
  https://help.gnome.org/users/evince/stable/shortcuts.html.en
It does not work: evince does nothing when I hover the pointer over the menu
item I want to change and click any key (BTW the shortcut text remains
greyed-out, not sure if it's normal...).

I've also found on some other pages that I must use 'dconf-editor'
instead of 'gconf-editor', but it does not work either.

FYI, I'm using, Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, but with AwsomeWM, and almost all
  gnome packages installed

  Cheers

  GM
