I think i'm hitting this bug too. cups go CPU 100%, until i restart them. Ubuntu Bionic, cups 2.2.7-1ubuntu2.3, cups-filters 1.20.2-0ubuntu3. I can safely install disco packages on bionic? [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1266069] Re: banshee hang on start
Ahem, some mystic inspiration came today. My daughters (7 and 9) have the bad instinct to pull down the main AC switch in the power board/stripe not taking care if ubuntu have correctly shut down. 10 minutes ago i've simply done a: sudo touch /forcefsck and reboot, and now (after the FS check) banshee works! Incredible! Seems to me that there was some very strange FS corruption, that lead to that trouble. Note that i've used the computer also for some data- intensive tasks (ah, the christmas video! ;), and do regular 'dist- upgrade'. Boh. Sorry for the fuss, and say me if i can be useful. I attach the log file, anyway (not mine, so it is still the 'not working' one). ** Attachment added: banshee.log https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/1266069/+attachment/3947143/+files/banshee.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to banshee in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266069 Title: banshee hang on start Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Suddenly banshee hangs on my fixed pc, for every user (also the guest one).
