[Desktop-packages] [Bug 2004494] [NEW] libreoffice-calc using wayland: moving cells by Alt-Drag not working
Public bug reported: Moving Lines or Colons without overwriting other Lines/Colons is possible in Libreoffice Calc under Xorg by pressing the Alt Key during Drag as described in following Table at Line "Alt Key": https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/ro/text/scalc/guide/move_dragdrop.html Unfortunately this does not worked on Wayland independent of the Libreoffice or Wayland release: it always overwrites the destination line as if no Alt Key were pressed. yes, seems to be fixed in Ubuntu 12.10 (takes now a second to connect) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/954763 Title: VPN connection setup phase takes long Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: On ubuntu 12.04 beta, to connect to a VPN by network-manager-gnome takes long. (Btw: on Ubuntu releases 11.04 and before it also took about 6s) This is independent of the VPN protocol used: it happens with network-manager-vpnc as well as with network-manager-openconnect. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 954763] Re: VPN connection setup phase takes long
Some additional information: 1) The problem happens only when the outgoing interface is a wlan inteface but not on the eth interface. 2) When tracing the ip traffic with wireshark, the timeout happens on a DNS query for Type=SOA Name=local Class=IN This DNS query is sent only when connected via wlan but not when connected via eth. It is sent twice and times out twice. And it only happens on Ubuntu 12.04 but not on 11.10 from wich I upgraded. So I guess it has anything to do with the change to dnsmasq on Ubuntu 12.04. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager-applet in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/954763 Title: VPN connection setup phase takes long Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: On ubuntu 12.04 beta, to connect to a VPN by network-manager-gnome takes long. Public bug reported: On ubuntu 12.04 beta, to connect to a VPN by network-manager-gnome takes long. It takes about 10s to connect with Ubuntu 12.04 and less than 1s with Ubuntu 11.10 or with an Android device . (Btw: on Ubuntu releases 11.04 and before it also took about 6s) This is independent of the VPN protocol used: it happens with network-manager-vpnc as well as with network-manager-openconnect. Expecting the rooting table and /etc/resolv.conf during the connection phase showed that setup of the tun0 interface including the correspondig interface route as well as the DNS config in /etc/resolv.conf is done quickly (below 1s). But it takes an extra 10s until the default route is replaced! In following syslog the connection phase stalls after setting up the nameserver between 16:54:39 and 16:54:48 : Mar 13 16:54:37 mmtux NetworkManager[1026]: info VPN service 'vpnc' started (org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.vpnc), PID 6570 Mar 13 16:54:37 mmtux NetworkManager[1026]: info VPN service 'vpnc' appeared; activating connections Mar 13 16:54:38 mmtux NetworkManager[1026]: info VPN plugin state changed: starting (3) Mar 13 16:54:38 mmtux NetworkManager[1026]: info VPN connection 'fhnw-adm (vpnc)' (Connect) reply received. I am finding periodically that Libreoffice crashes on me. There doesn't seem to be any particular reason why it crashes, though I always seem to be attempting to do something (in this case it was selecting ToolsBibliographyDatabase in writer. This has happened twice now) Crashes happen with multiple documents opened, or just one, both with Calc and Writer. I don't regularly use other parts of OpenOffice, so I'm not sure if they also would crash. I'm essay writing at the moment, so am likely to see these crashes a lot over the next few days. Am happy to troubleshoot any ideas, as well as helping implement any workaround. So far I can't think of any. Selecting the ToolsBibliographyDatabase item from the menu seems to crash the program every time. I am working an an eeepc 901 netbook with 1Gb of Ram. Attached is the log report from /var/crash. Cheers.
