I changed the Graphics Card and the driver, everything looks fine now...

current vga card is: VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation NV44
[GeForce 6200 TurboCache] (rev a1)

and the driver: Nvidia 304.117

I'm not sure the issue was with Nvidia driver or compiz
