[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1972820]

2023-05-09 Thread Nv4y-robert
(In reply to AJ from comment #13)

You couldn't get it working, because the direct connection from LO is a
connection to MariaDB. So newer versions of MySQL might be not supported
with direct connection.

Again: JDBC connection will work. Have a look at Base Guide
https://books.libreoffice.org/en/BG73/BG7302-CreatingADatabase.html#toc9

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1218890]

2013-09-03 Thread Nv4y-robert
(In reply to comment #10)
 confirmed by multiple downstream bugs

Could be I don't understand right, but ...

Nobody has ever confirmed this bug appears in the original packages from
LO. All confirmations come from other packages: Ubuntu, SuSE ...

When I open LO 4.1.1.1 directly from LO I could import *.eps-files. When
I try the same with 4.1.1.2 from SUSE I couldn't import *.eps-files.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1218890]

2013-09-03 Thread Nv4y-robert
I have just opened a document with connected *.tif-files. The same procedure.
LO, installed from OpenSUSE-packages, doesn't work. It doesent show any
*.tif-image and when I try to insert a new *tif-image the dialog Graphics
filter not found appears.
The same version, installed from LO directly, works. There is a file
libgraphicfilterlo.so. When I look at LO 4.1.1.2 from OpenSUSE it is 95,3 kb.
When I look at LO 4.1.1.1 from LO directly, it's 141,4 kb.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1185463]

2013-08-11 Thread Nv4y-robert
I have just tried it with the LO 4.1.0.4-packages of OpenSUSE 12.3 64bit rpm
(downloaded from OpenSUSE).
Had a table with 2 columns and 36 rows in the mainform and a table 31 columns
and 9000 rows in the subform. When I change the row in the mainform the data in
the subform appear immediately.
So I can't confirm this bug. I can't test the original LO 4.* together with
ODBC, because LO will shutdown immediately when the connection should be
enabled (see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65830 )

Bug description:
Several days ago I upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04 to 13.04.
Original repositories changes releases of LibreOffice and updated it

When access to forms with Forms/Subforms combination (Parent-Child
Relationship) the parent record display fine but the subform data
display takes long time (4 secs before update to 40 secs with the
  upgrade)

I changed from 4.0.2 (official repository) to downlodable 4.0.3 and turn
worst.
I changed ODBC and drivers from MySQL and the same result.
I reinstall MySQL server to avoid DB-Tables perfomance issues.
I checked CPU usage and almost takes 100% when navigated thru records

I had to downgrade to LO 3.6.6 version and works as expected (as long
  as Ubuntu 12.04).

  At present time I use:

  Ubuntu release 13.04
  MySQL 5.5.31

  Any Ideas?

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 93546]

2012-06-12 Thread Nv4y-robert
Tried to connect KDE-Adressbook.
OpenSuSE 11.4, 32bit, LO 3.3.4 and LO 3.5.4.2 → connection works, no content is
shown (may be another problem).
OpenSuSE 12.1, 64bit, LO 3.5.4.2 → no SDBC-Driver for URL. When I search for
more Information the URL sdbc:address:kab was not found. I think it could not
be found, because the right URL has to be sdbc:kab. Thats the URL I see, when
I open Extras → Options →LibreOffice Base → Connections.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Over on the Ubuntu user's mailing list someone asked a question about
Thunderbird address data sources. So in the process of replying I check
  on my systems found:

OOo 2.1 installed from Openoffice.org files directly (installed on
  Dapper) has:

  File|Templates|Address Book Source| Administrate button
  - Evolution
  - Groupwise
  - Evolution LDAP
  - Mozilla / Netscape
  - Thunderbird
  - KDE address book
  - LDAP address book
  - Other external data source

OOo 2.2(rc3) (Ubuntu'ized Feisty version) only shows:

  File|Templates|Address Book Source| Administrate button
  - Evolution
  - Groupwise
  - Evolution LDAP
  - Other external data source

Note: Thunderbird is installed working on both machines.

I then installed OOo 2.2(rc3) (non-Ubuntu'ized version) on Ubuntu
Dapper using the files from OOo and the results are exactly the same
as my OOo 2.1 (non-Ubuntuized) version:

  File|Templates|Address Book Source| Administrate button
  - Evolution
  - Groupwise
  - Evolution LDAP
  - Mozilla / Netscape
  - Thunderbird
  - KDE address book
  - LDAP address book
  - Other external data source

  The Ubuntu version is missing:
  - Mozilla / Netscape
  - Thunderbird
  - KDE address book
  - LDAP address book
