[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1714834] [NEW] display is detected on a non-connected DP port
Public bug reported: I have my screen connected to HDMI, and I also have a DP cable plugged in. Given the claims on the upstream bug, this should perhaps be filed against compiz? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1628866 Title: After upgrading to 16.10, Chrome has become unusable because of extremely slow update Status in X.Org X server: Unknown Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Both Chrome and Firefox actually were extremely slow regarding visual update (1 second after clicking a tab, lagging when entering text). [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1288747] Re: [334] Parts of the UI randomly flicker when moving the mouse
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 269904 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/269904 Sorry folks, browsing through the 144 comments on this page I did not realize that compiz 1:0.9.11.3+14.04.20150313-0ubuntu1 should in theory have a fix for this bug. I'm still having issues, especially LibreOffice menus don't refresh or start flickering, but sometimes it's the Unity dash that flickers until I press super and other times the issue gets triggered while dragging a window from one space to the other while in 'show workspaces' mode. Should I file a new report? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1288747 Title: [334] Parts of the UI randomly flicker when moving the mouse Status in Compiz: Triaged Status in compiz package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Nvidia 334.21 makes the UI jearky, googled and found this on Nvidia forums: "This looks like a problem caused by the system compositor not properly waiting for X rendering to finish before performing OpenGL rendering in response.
