Bug description:
  When i use the bulit in RDP of gnome it just shows a black screen if I
  use VNC I can use it for a few second before it stops responding to
  the mouse.

  I rolled back to 44.0.2 and now its fine afer reinstalling the whole
  shell.

  Looking in the fedora comments there was a comment that mutter broke
  something in 44.1

  VNC Password cleared on reboot

Status in gnome-remote-desktop package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Password is set using the Screen Sharing settings... Screen sharing
  works till next machine reboot. After reboot the password entry is
  cleared in the settings and cannot connect anymore.

  The following line appears in syslog:
  May 15 09:53:37 alpha gnome-remote-de[1512]: Couldn't retrieve VNC password: 
Password not set

  Setting the password again in settings solves the problem... but this
  isn't very helpful on a machine which is meant to run headless.
