Very strange idea to remove the visibility of the StartCenter when we create a new one. If Linux distributions maintainers do not want give the access to the StartCenter and the Math module, they can do that in their distro build without deciding for all Linux users. Best regards. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1022640]
Hmmm, that's weird: I do not reproduce the bug anymore with LO 4.0.3. And it works as expected with the current master (Version: 4.1.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: 64670c3ea25b0f8c8975946971b041b71f36206). What changed for me is that now I use XFCE instead of Gnome-shell. As a consequence I can't confirm that the Noel's patch fixes the problem. So, can somebody else try again with LO 4.0.3 and the master ? Best regards. (In reply to comment #11) > You are correct, LO 4.0.1.2 downloaded directly from TDF website works as > expected. Should I post this error on launchpad so that the ppa version can > be corrected? Obviously something they have been doing since LO 3.5 is wrong. Yes, according to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport#Reporting_Ubuntu_bugs But there is already a bug report on launchpad for this problem (fields "See also", top right of this page), you should add a comment there.
