[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1331375] Re: Update Chromium to >= 35.0.1916.153 (including security fixes)
Another possibility is that Chromium get not updated is that with release 35 NPAPI got removed and therfore the Adobe flash plugin do not work anymore and users have to pull in chromium-pepper-flash. However I agree do put users at security risk due to browser vulnerabilities which are already fixed in newer releases is a problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1331375 Title: Update Chromium to >= 35.0.1916.153 (including security fixes) Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Updating fixes security bugs, see the linked CVEs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1331375/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1320698] Re: no apparmor profile for chromium
That's correct as https://wiki.debian.org/AppArmor/HowTo mentioning: sudo apt-get install apparmor apparmor-profiles apparmor-utils and package apparmor-profiles contains: /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin .chromium-browser (wheezy: https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/all /apparmor-profiles/filelist) so in Ubuntu the chromium profile should get installed with a chromium install or the system/default apparmor profiles package should be updated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1320698 Title: no apparmor profile for chromium Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ubuntu 14.04 fresh install and installed chromium apt-get install chromium-browser and checking /etc/apparmor.d and there is no profile for chromium (firefox have a default one) as maybe the one which get used on Debian (Wheezy) could be shared.
