This is still going on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring, Scilab 5.4.1 and libgl1
-mesa-glx 9.1.3-0. Impossible to use Scilab.

I still have this same problem when using a bluetooth headset. It
connects, I can actually use it to send the sound output to it by means
of the output setting in the Gnome Control Panel, but when I try to
direct the input (from the headset microphone) to the computer using the
input tab in the sound settings (Gnome Control Panel) the application
crashes and closes immediatly. I am able to reproduce this everytime.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS now with all updates to date (May 6th 2012).
