[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1992779] [NEW] With ubuntu 22.04, Manual PLMN scan via GUI shows Timeout

2022-10-13 Thread Kumaresh
Public bug reported:

Test steps:

Boot the RVP
Run the Modem Manager in debug mode
Search the PLMN using "Scan" API & check results
Disable Automatic Network in GUI
Check the available networks in UI.
Observation:-

When we tried to do Scan through python framework it worked.
When we tried to disable automatic network in GUI observed "timeout was reached"
Expected result:-
After disabling the automatic network in GUI we should get all the Networks
available

Note:- When tried to disable network two time initially response has
come but later observed "timeout was reached"

We analyzed from Host and Modem end, there is no issue observed. But
issue observed in GUI.

** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

** Attachment added: "Screenshot_fail_with_GUI.png"

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 980111] Re: apt-get install not working

2012-04-26 Thread Kumaresh Rajarajan
Hi Gary,

I have fixed the issue.

The issue was with the file /var/cache/debconf/config.dat being
missing. I created this file and that resolved this issue. :)

Thank you.
