[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1724098] Re: For some BRIEF time, SOUND ICON in tray is very BIG in size

2017-10-18 Thread nebrisi
Here is a gif of the problem. I should add that I'm using virtualbox if
this is anyhow connected.

So this giant icon only happens for the first time you click on the tray
drop-down menu.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1724101] [NEW] in OVERVIEW, the last used window SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED regardless of mouse pointer

2017-10-16 Thread nebrisi
Public bug reported:

In gnome-overview, with keyboard navigation between open windows, when
you want to select for example the window on the right from the last
used window, you have to press the DOWN KEY (not the RIGHT KEY) to move
focus to that window...so every time you have to FIRST press the DOWN
KEY. (Unless mouse pointer is not hovering a window)

So I think that if mouse pointer is not hovering any window, focus should be on
the last used window.
If hovering with mouse over windows should move the focus from windows is also
debatable.

** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

Hello!

I installed the "bamf 0.5.3~bzr0+16.04.20160701" package and the problem
goes away for me!

Rhythmbox back to the Launcher! :)

Thanks, great work!

** Description changed:

+ spinning wheel when opening Rhythmbox from Dash/Launcher WHEN it is already

  [Test Case]

  1. Start Rhythmbox.
  2. Play some music.
  3. Close the Rhythmbox window.
  4. Open Rhythmbox from Dash or Launcher (if Rhythmbox is locked to it).
  5. Admire annoying spinning wheel for about 13 seconds.

If Rhythmbox is reopened from the sound tray menu it is ok, no spinning
  wheel.

  [Possible Regresssions]
Unity fails to notify the application startup or the startup notification
