Title:
Nothing happens when trying to add online calendar

Status in One Hundred Papercuts:
  Confirmed
Status in gnome-calendar package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open gnome-calendar
  2. Open calendar settings
  3. Click on "Click to set up" on any of the online accounts.

Nothing happens. There is no error message or anything. The gear icon
next to "Online accounts" header also does nothing.

I killed the calendar and ran it from command line. Clicking on any of
  these buttons outputs:

  $ gnome-calendar

  ** (gnome-calendar:5108): WARNING **: Couldn't open settings: Failed
to execute child process "gnome-control-center" (No such file or
  directory)

Package gnome-control-center is not installed. If it's required for
calendar to work, it should be a dependency. At least there should be
  warning dialog that explains this.

Tested on 16.04 on Cinnamon desktop.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 637066] Re: Volume adjustment is extreme

Hi, I have the exact same problem with the following sound card:

Has the patch of #9 already be applied?

I am using an Altec Lansing USB sound adapter (ID 0d8c:000c C-Media

adjustment is calibrated incorrectly. 2/3 of scale is loud. One
click below (in the horizontal volume slider) is too low to hear, and
one click above would make Spinal Tap envious. Mine goes to 12

I have to manually adjust the volume using my speaker adjustment.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1297692] Re: Onboard not working with wacom driver

2014-04-19 Thread tuxiano
Hi,

thank you very much for your effort to resolve this issue. I have
version 1.0.1-0ppa~trusty3 installed and it actually works great :-)

There is still a little issue left, onboard does not work in combination
with the wacom driver, when I try to log in (unity-greeter). After I
logged in, onboard works as expected.

Best regards,

Marko

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1297695] Re: Onboard too small in unity-greeter

2014-03-27 Thread tuxiano
Hi,

1.6 is just fine. Right now its easy again to type my password.

Just a thought:
Since the vertical space is the constraint, perhaps you add a more vertical
space efficient keypoard layout. The keyboard of the tungsten c for example
only used four instead of five rows:

Thank you and best regards.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1298246] [NEW] Floating icon disapears after using a second screen

2014-03-27 Thread tuxiano
Public bug reported:

Hi, after disconnecting a second screen (via HDMI) from my laptop I can
not see the floating icon anymore on the first screen (build-in). I can
not resolve this issue by reconnection the second screen and move the
icon back to the first screen.

I have another question:
I found another bug (onboad does not shows up to unlock the screen). Do I have
to report this bug against the onboard package or another one?

Best regards
